Molesworth Station

Historic Molesworth Station, supporting Aotearoa’s largest cattle run, is a New Zealand icon. Its half a million acre size and situation in some of the South Island’s most spectacular, diverse and remote high-country areas make it a spectacular place to visit. And its historic buildings make it a place of interest and fascination to history-lovers and tourists alike.

Molesworth is NZ’s largest high country station, covering 185,000 hectares.  Inland and south of Blenheim, it sits between the Inland Kaikoura Mountains to the east, the Wairau River to the west and the Hamner Springs area to the south. Mt Tapeanuku, highest mountain outside of the Southern alps, dominates eastern views standing proud at 2,885 metres.
