With its rolling hills and stunning green landscapes, Hurunui is home to some excellent parks and gardens. The district hosts many garden events to educate, entertain and inspire. 

Hurunui holds a Garden Festival in Spring each year. There are between 22 and 24 gardens on display and some historic homesteads and artists. And while you’re enjoying the gardens and warm hospitality, you should consider visiting the wineries, cafés, retail shops and the many other attractions of the Hurunui District.
